September 2011 – Kimmy Brunner

Getting it Square and Flat
Two-time Machine Quilting Teacher of the Year winner Kimmy Brunner is a third generation quilter whose award-winning work has been featured in numerous books, magazines and calendars. Known for her beautiful quilting and crazy sense of humor, her style combines laughter with years of experience. She produces digitized patterns for computerized quilters, high quality quilting tools, and the highest rated instructional DVDs for midarm and longarm machine quilters. Her newest DVD is ‘Bordering on Lunacy for Beginners’. A frequent contributor to quilting industry publications, she also teaches jam-packed classes at national and international machine quilting shows. Still sane despite having two teenagers, she lives in Minnesota with her family and a rather alarming stash of fabric.
